What Happens Next

Lab Analysis

Your dust wipe samples and any paint chips ship to an accredited laboratory the same day as our visit. Standard lab processing takes 5–7 business days. Results are reviewed by our licensed risk assessor before your report is prepared.

Your Report

You receive a detailed, photo-documented report covering every tested surface. Each component is clearly identified with its location, condition, and test result. Reports include pass/fail determinations and specific recommendations.

City Submission

For Cleveland rental properties, results must be submitted through the city's Citizen Access portal within 90 days. We format reports for direct submission and can walk you through the process.

Understanding Your Results

If No Hazards Are Found

Your property may qualify for Lead-Safe Certification (2-year)
Or pursue the 20-Year Lead-Safe Exemption via lead-based paint inspection
We prepare all documentation needed for certification

Remediation & Clearance

If hazards are found, remediation work must be performed by an EPA RRP-certified contractor (for interim controls) or a licensed abatement contractor.
